Starting

A brief review, of most relevant aspects to this specialty, was the initial idea when I have decided to build this blog. When I tried to find a similar blog on some internet search engines, I was surprised when the results only found isolated posts in other blogs.
Vascular Surgery is a branch of surgery that deals with diseases in arteries and veins, usually described as "peripheral vascular system", trying to distinguish from heart and brain vessels, respectively, the specialty from the cardiovascular surgeon and the neurosurgeon.
Endovascular surgery is an alternative form to treat lesions, in arteries and veins (thrombosis, stenosis, aneurysms), in many different regions of the body, accessed in distance, via major blood vessels, with radioscopy using different kinds of guidewires, and catheters.
